GUAMUN is a friendly learning conference, although a degree of familiarity with Parliamentary Procedure, and background research would be very helpful.
GUAMUN is opened to students ranging from 8th grade to 12th grade.
GUAMUN is an electronic based conference, so delegates won't need to print anything. They will need to bring a laptop since research and resolutions will be done online and shared.
The dress code for GUAMUN is Formal Business attire. Women can wear formal dresses, suits, pantsuits, etc. Men need to come dress in suit and tie.
Yes, we will have lunch, dinner and snacks included. As well, we will have vegetarian and vegan options.
Yes, only one position paper is required for GUAMUN, but it is highly encouraged for delegates to do both position papers to be highly knowledgeable in both topics. Those who don't submit a position paper won't be eligible for an award.

We do have refunds, just send us an e-mail with your name. However, there won't be refunds after December 10th, 2025 since the payments for the conference have been already made.
Yes, MUN advisors pay a $400 MXN or 20 USD fee.
You will receive lunch and dinner, as well as snacks between the sessions. Delegates will also receive a goodie bag that will be useful throughout the conference.
No, high school and middle school students won't be in the committees. However, they will get the opportunity to interact with each other during breaks and the delegate dinner.
